Symposium Language The official language of the symposium is English. Preparation of Papers Each author has to prepare an abstract (not less than one page and maximum two pages) and a four-page full paper, including text, references, figures, and tables. The pages of abstract and full paper should be left unnumbered. The author's (or authors') name and complete affiliation, including e-mail address should be placed below the title. In order to simplify the revision and editing phases the abstract and full paper formats must conform to the template files available. Paper Submission
Authors must submit their abstracts before
( Authors are requested to select the proper topics for their papers during the submission phase. Submissions received after the fixed date or exceeding the length limit may not be accepted. The status of submission will be notified by e-mail before September 15th, 2007. Authors, of accepted papers, will have to send the final version of their contributions by October 31st, 2007 in electronic form, making use of the symposium website (http://www.ismot2007.org/paper). The format of electronic files for each submission phase should be PDF. At the date of full paper submission the “Copyright Transfer Agreement Form”, filled in and signed, should be mailed or faxed to Prof. F. Giannini, whose contacts are given below.

Pre-Registration The presenting authors of each accepted regular and invited paper will have to be registered by the 31st of October, 2007. Each author cannot present more than two papers. Proceedings The papers accepted for the ISMOT-2007 will be included in a book of proceedings, available also in electronic form (CD-ROM), provided the presenter is registered by the due date The book and CD-ROM proceedings will be distributed to every participant at the conference site. Selected high quality full length papers, presented at the symposium, will be published in the Special Issue of the International Journal of Microwave and Optical Technology (IJMOT). Presentations Papers accepted and pre-registered will be presented in two forms, either as an oral presentation or as a poster presentation. Each oral presentation in the regular session will have 20 min. for the regular papers and 30 min. for the invited papers including the possible discussion.
