ISMOT 2007 - Travel Information

Villa Mondragone is sited between the Frascati and Monte Porzio Catone villages, which are placed in the area of Castelli Romani, at about 20 km south-east of Roma.

Roma has two international airports (Fiumicino - Leonardo Da Vinci and Ciampino - G.B. Pastine), connected to the city by trains, buses and taxi, and an international railway station (Termini), placed in the centre of the city, where underground and bus stations are available.

The underground system is formed by two lines (A and B), the main underground stations of the line A are Battistini, Termini, Ponte Lungo and Anagnina while Laurentina and Rebibbia are the stations at the line B ends. In particular, Anagnina, Ponte Lungo and Termini stations are interlink points between underground lines, railway systems, city bus network (ATAC) and regional bus networks (COTRAL).

From Fiumicino airport to Roma

by fast train (Leonardo express) to Termini railway station (departures every 30 minutes, first departure at 6:35 am, last departure at 11:35 pm, the trip lasts 31 minutes). The ticket costs 11.00 € and can be bought at the ticketing counter (Note 1).
by train, FM1 Line to Roma Tiburtina (departures every 15-30 minutes, first departure at 5:57 am, last departure at 10:57 pm, every 30 minutes, the trip lasts 36 minutes). To get off the train at Tuscolana station. The ticket costs 5.00 € and can be bought at the ticketing counter (Note 1). From here take the underground at Ponte Lungo station to Anagnina (see the map B ).
by the Terravision bus to Termini Station (via Marsala 22, see the map C). The one way ticket costs 7.00€ , the return one 12.00€. The ticket can be bought on board (see timetable).

From Ciampino airport to Roma

by the COTRAL blue bus to Termini (see timetable). The ticket (1.00€) can be bought at the news agent’s, tobaconist’s and bars. The bus stop is outside the airport (see the map D)

The bus stop is outside the arrival side.

From Termini railway station to Anagnina

take the underground “A” to the final stop Anagnina (Note 2). The ticket costs 1.00 € and can be bought at the ticket machine.

From Termini railway station to Frascati railway station

take the direct train (see timetable). The ticket can be bought at the ticketing counter in Termini station or Frascati station (1.40 €).

From Ciampino to Fiumicino

by the Schiaffini bus (see timetable) to Fiumicino Airport. The ticket can be bought on board (5.00€.). The bus stop is outside the arrival side (see the map D).

From the Ponte Lungo underground station to Anagnina

take the underground “A” to the final stop Anagnina (Note 2). The ticket costs 1.00 € and can be bought at the ticket machine.

From Anagnina to Frascati

by the blue COTRAL bus direction Rocca Priora (platform 6), ticket 1,00 €, and get off at Piazza Marconi bus stop (see the map E).

Note 1 : Please remember, the ticket has to be stamped by using the automatic machine placed next to the railway platform.

Note 2 : Please remember, for renovation works, during the present year underground is closed at 9.00 pm. The two bus-lines MA1 and MA2 guarantee the service on A underground line from 9.00 pm to 11.30 pm.
